Breathing Scrolling

Breathing Scrolling is a new healthy way to scroll websites or pdf documents, without using your mouse or keyboard. Just blow into the headset to scroll any website or pdf document. Breathing scrolling is available as a Chrome extension or as a bookmarklet that can be easily dragged and dropped into your bookmarks bar in your favorite web browser.

Chrome Extension

Chrome extension is available here. Click ADD TO CHROME button in the upper right corner to download and install chrome extension and the Breathing+ headset icon should appear in your browser toolbar.

Usage:

  • Plugin your device’s headset (microphone)
  • Whenever you open or refresh your selected website you will need to allow access to your microphone in the notification window that appears automatically.
  • Now you can blow into the microphone and scroll your desired website.
  • When blow is detected, the extensions icon will change and show a downward facing arrow

On https websites (such as Facebook or Gmail and many others) you need to allow microphone access only once. If microphone has been disabled before, you will need to click on a little shield in your URL address bar of your browser, to set it ro allow access.

Notes:

If you click on this extension’s icon several options will appears:

  • Disable or enable you extension with the on and off button (this will also disable or enable microphone notification window to popout for this extension only)
  • Select you desired website scrolling speed with a slider.
  • If for any reason microphone notification window does not appear when you open or refresh website just simply refresh website and try again.
  • Sometimes the website will not scroll even though blow was detected. Just simply click on the speed slider in the icon pop up window and try again.

Bookmarklet

Breathing Scrolling bookmarklet allows you to scroll websites with your breathing on most web browsers available today.

First, you need to add bookmark URL to your bookmark bar (Just drag and drop the link bellow).

Then connect your B+ headset and navigate to the any website and click on bookmark Blow Scroll. Click allow access to your microphone and you are off to go. Blow to scroll.

Usage:

  • Plugin your device’s headset (microphone).
  • Navigate to the any website and click on bookmark Blow Scroll.
  • Allow access to your microphone in the notification window that appears automatically.
  • Blow Scroll pop up navigation window will appear on the top of your web page.
  • Now you can blow into the microphone and scroll your desired website.

Notes:

  • Hide or show Blow Scroll pop up navigation window with the hide and show button.
  • With speed slider select your desired website scrolling speed.
  • Sometimes the website will not scroll even though blow was detected. Just simply click on the speed slider in the icon pop up window and try again.
