GENETIC ENGINEERING HANDS-ON WORKSHOP, KOPER, SLOVENIA

When we have at least 3 participants who are able to get some funding (erasmus+ is easiest) we will organize CRISPR WORKSHOP in Koper, Slovenia (Europe). Workshop will give you hands-on in-vitro experience with genetic manipulation, sequencing, and analysis. You can choose amongst the following courses:

  • human tissue engineering
  • bacterial gene engineering
  • biotextile fabrication
  • PCR and sequencing
  • luminescent bacteria engineering
  • in-vitro meat growing

Price of a workshop will depend on chosen course and on our ability to attract sponsors and donations. Courses will probably cost between 500€ and 1000€ (does not include your accomodation, travel costs, food, health insurance,..). It is highly recommended you try to get Erasmus funds for 3 or 6 months and the easiest way to do that is to apply to any of our internships: irzu.org/internships/
