why am I having difficultly signing into Azure from Visual Studio Code

I am having difficulty signing into Azure from Visual Studio Code.

I have downloaded Visual Studio Code to my desktop. From there I have added the extension for Azure. I click on Sign in to Azure and it starts prompting me to login to my Microsoft account. I put into my credentials for my Microsoft account and it prompts me to enter the number through Authenticator. Once I have done all this all the prompts go away but in Visual Studio Code it still is asking me to “Sign in to Azure”.

Can anyone help me connect my Azure to Visual Studio Code?

Thank you.
