What are the major differences between SQLDeveloper and Developer Tools for Visual Studio?

In speaking with folks at SQLDeveloper support, they indicated I should look at Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio. I have used SQLDeveloper for more than a decade. I have not been able to find an article on the VS tools, and specifically what are the differences.

Does such a comparison exist?

Can the VS Tools completely replace SQLDeveloper?

Will the VS Tools run with Microsoft Visual Studio Community 2019?

I often import & export data with SQLDeveloper from flat files & Excel files. Is this available in the VS Tools?
