Waveform 14, can not show my vst plugins (in: Hosts and Applicat…)

Hi there folks, first time here, and first time installing Waveform free from tracktion.
a horrible experience trying to get vst instruments in there, have tried scanning folders, and it finds them, and also manually dragging, but, they do not show up, and up in the right upper corner where it says plugins, it says empty, and that I have to enable them in the plugin settings, but you see, there is no enabling option, only enable sandbox, tried to uncheck and check that again, but nada

Any clues…
