Use a keyboard shortcut to trigger a function in a script (in: Controller Scripting)

I have been wondering the exact same thing and a search brought me here.

I must confess to “abusing” the controller API and using it for general scripting purposes – I blame Polarity 🙂 it would be really useful if you could “export” a function from a controller script or extension and have that appear as an action you can bind against in the shortcuts editor.

P.s. huge thanks to Polarity, Moss, Kirkwood for sharing so much information about Bitwig scripting etc 😎
