TONE3000 release their own plugin and standalone – Effects Forum

I put it on my “studio” machine yesterday (debian testing base). In Ardour it uses 2x as much CPU as in BespokeSynth at the same settings. Not sure why just yet but it could be Ardour being weird. I’ll probably throw on Tracktion later for a deeper comparison.

Initially I wasn’t keen on them using a web-based UI but considering you browse their site in the plugin to get profiles it kinda makes sense. More sense that using it for a EQ or something similar.

It’s a solid start and great to have it native on Linux.
