Step Clip – panning not possible? (in: Tracktion)

Step clips are really just midi, aren’t they? Midi technically has a pan control (cc#10) but it’s not per-note and it’s almost certainly ignored by a number of plugin instruments. The relationship between plugins and midi is kinda loose.

If there is a way to do what you want it will be within the plugin and might be exposed as an automatable parameter. Adding automation to a step clip is now possible.

Or maybe MPE allows for such things. That will also depend on the plugin.
