Sensel App not recognizing Sensel Morph (in: Hardware (Instrument…)

So- installed Win 7/8 drivers (I think)…still having the same problem. My PC does recognize the Morph via Bluetooth- but I believe you must be connected via UBS cable to start up the Morph?
I bought my Morph used- it didn’t come with the original cable. I have a new cable coming today, the one I’m using now is an older one from the bottom of a drawer, so it could be faulty…
The Morph charges when plugged in, but the app doesn’t recognize it. Besides a faulty cable- can anyone else chime in…
