opening a georefreced ifc file in arcgis pro

Revit has an internal location and coordinate system before the IFC is made. When you export that into an IFC it will try to use that data in Pro. It is a pain to adjust these in Revit, try reprojection the IFC in Pro, but it is likely going to need re-exported from Revit with a coordinate adjustment or new coordinate system.

You can set a default projection for all CAD in a folder by defining the projection for one in Pro and renaming the projection file Pro makes to “esri_CAD.prj” this might speed up troubleshooting in the future.
