MDrummer’s channels – MeldaProduction Forum

I use MDrummer’s 9 channels (well, not all of them) to add decorative elements without having to program full pattern and having pattern changes. In Bitwig each single note can be on a different MIDI channel and each channel has a color, making it easy to spot them.

I understand that the 9 channels are sharing the same drum elements, the same drum kit. I tried loading a different drum kit while having channel # 2 selected and it’s still the same drum kit as channel # 1. Can each channel use a different drum kit ?

I’d like to know other uses people have for using channels.
