Master Match EQ, what's your opinion? (in: Effects)

I think tools like Master Match EQ can be surprisingly useful when used subtly. I wouldn’t rely on them to “fix” a mix, but sometimes they can highlight tonal differences that you might otherwise miss, especially after long sessions when ear fatigue starts creeping in.

My experience has been that the best results come from using them as a suggestion rather than a destination. If a small amount of matching makes the track sound better, great. If it starts making you chase a curve instead of serv…
