Roland offers the JD-800 plugin, which has different parameter ranges, doesn’t sound like the original JD-800 and doesn’t have the features of the JD-990. It’s essentially a mono synth, while the JD-990 is fully stereo.
Our plugin fully emulates the JD-990, and it’s fully patch compatible and produces sound identical to the original, thanks to the low-level analysis we did, and it’s precise on the EP, TVF and CSP chips down to the single cycle level.
