Heretical Audio’s DR-55 Drum Rack for Ableton Live contains 19 Custom Ableton Drum Kits of the 1981 BOSS DR-55 analog drum machine. All kits have custom Macros that allow the user to quickly tweak volume, pan, and reverb levels for each drum sound. These racks are also unique as each drum pad ‘scans’ through multiple sample hits in the background. This technique mimics the analog nature of the original machines since there will be slight variations in the drum sounds each time it’s hit. This can not be accomplished with just static samples, and makes these kits the most authentic of their kind. Also included is a custom drum buss effects rack compatible with Ableton Live 11 Standard or Suite.
