distortion etc. – why are there no trash, ohmicide alternatives? – Effects Forum

I never got into Trash – got it free years ago, tried it a few times, and deleted it as my ears didn’t hear anything special about it.

For distortion (excluding saturation), I get by just fine with Blue Cats Destructor, Saturn2, The Scream, and now also Fury. I’ve deleted many others I bought and used to use. I suppose Shaperbox 3 also has distortion but the others I listed are better at it.

There’s no One Plugin for me, but if I had to pick one, I’d have a hard time between Saturn2 and Fury… probably end up with Saturn2.
