Yes the subscription was a bad move.. they acknowledged that and changed that, there are now three options.. rent to own month by month, rent to own for the entire year (one payment), one time payment for perpetual license..

Why is that complex?

I think part of the issue is freeware and cheap plugins so that so many people now think they are entitled to cheap plugins.

Are they some some cheap great plugins? Yes of course..

But not every developer needs to follow that and do cheap plugins…..
