Best way for LEGATO (in: Roger Linn Design)

Hi! I recently bought the Linnstrument 128 and I’m still discovering this amazing instrument. I’m using the Linnstrument with Swam Strings and I wanted some tips on how to program the legato, so that it’s really practical for performances. I was wondering if I could leave the Y axis (FRONT-BACK) for legato and leave the bow-bridge distance on automatic, so that it always produces the best sound. Is there any way to do this? What are your opinions? Thanks!
