You will achieve the biggest boost in speed by adding Acoustica to the Windows Defender exclusions list. The Windows virus scanner significantly slows down and delays the loading of a DAW because it scans hundreds of VST plugins and wave files every time the program starts.
To add these exclusions to Windows Defender, press the Windows key + R, type “windowsdefender:”, and press Enter.
