1 wire – Help reading DS28E01 eeprom

I have followed this page to connect the chip to the pi and have gotten far enough to see the device in the W1 folder, but I have yet to actually find the eeprom file.

I am currently thinking that I may have the wrong driver to access this specific chip and and wondering how I can find said driver.

I was also thinking about just tweaking one of the preinstalled drivers to try to better match the data sheet, but have no idea were to even start on that.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
