I haven’t read the hardware manual, so what I say it’s what I’ve figured out.

First, if you click on the plugin LCD, you can see a zoomed, and more readable version, then, in the mode it starts (which I believe it’s the PLAY mode), you can press the Left/Right Arrows, to switch banks, to select the sound in those banks, you need to press the F1, F2, F3, etc., buttons.

Alternatively, you can also press on the PART button, then the Right Arrow, and use the Jog Wheel to change patch.
