Wire Grind King Cobrato
King Cobrato is a vibrato VST effect featuring a signal-triggered LFO and pitch-perfect modulation.
Threshold-Triggered Modulation
LFO cycling toggles on and off when the signal level crosses a user-defined threshold.
Precision Pitch Variation
Intuitively adjust the effect with this perceptual parameter. Upwards and downwards pitch variation can be set precisely up to a max of ±1200 cents (±1 octave).
Sidechain-Ready
Using the effect’s external sidechain, oscillation can be triggered by another audio track. For example, a percussion track could be used to trigger pitch oscillations on a pad sound.
Controllable LFO Cycling
Want just one, two, or eight LFO cycles on every note? The “number of cycles” parameter does exactly this. There are also three cycle modes “at least, “, “at most,” and “exactly.” These are applied to the “number of cycles” parameter.
13 Pitch Envelopes
A pitch envelope is the result produced by the LFO. It’s an intuitive perceptual descriptor of the effect’s output. It differs from a modulation waveform which traditional vibratos often use as an internal data signal.
Chorus and Flanging
Threshold-triggered chorus and flange effects are possible too. Set the “Wet/Dry” to 50% and the “LFO Rate” to a moderate setting. Start with a “Pitch Range” of 50 cents, and adjust to taste.
