why is ”kali-linux-2022.4-virtualbox-amd64.7z” downloaded file disappearing when i attempt to import virtual machine after i unzip file?

When I attempt to import the ”kali-linux-2022.4-virtualbox-amd64.7z” on the virtual box, the file disappears immediately. If I open VirtualBox and select ”import” and select the file location.. ”kali-linux-2022.4-virtualbox-amd64.7z” it is not there. But if I go to winrar or ”file explorer” via ”windows” the file IS there.

I have tried rebooting and my files then disappear completely apart from being accessible in winrar.

I am using a yoga 11e windows 10
