C12 – First 6 months were probably my worst experience with Cubase as it was bug after bug and features like the MIDI Remote more akin to a beta than a final release. What I didn’t like is the months wait to have small issues corrected such as the MIDI notes being misaligned on the timeline, I can’t see why SB weren’t more responsive to fix that.

I’d say start of this year onwards it’s been really good for me since, though. The licensing I just take for granted now, but having all my libraries and apps on desktop and MacBook without having to carry a dongle is brilliant.

As of 12.0.7, I think it’s one of the best versions of Cubase personally, despite that rocky start.

It’s now rock solid for me, performs very well and I get a lot of use of the new features and plugins… It’s more the long standing bugs and trivial issues that I’d love to see fixed.
