Where did layered editing go in Bitwig 6.0.5? (in: Bitwig)

I’m trying to use layered editing in the detail editor panel. According to the manual, and several tutorial videos, there should be vertical buttons reading “Track” and “Clip”. I don’t see them. I do see “Track” and “Clip” just above the piano keyboard. I select “Track”. According to the manual and tutorials, there should be a layer editing icon at the bottom. I don’t see that either. What is the correct procedure to enter layered editing in Bitwig 6.0.5?
