What kind of strat and why? (in: Guitars)

When I started my tele quest years back I got a SX Furrian. The screw threads for the bridge did not fit properly and were shredded as I attempted to set up the action. It had constant noise as it was unshielded. The hum didn’t help either. Shortly thereafter the fretboard became unsealed from the neck. I should have just waited longer. Both my MIM Blacktop and my CIC modern player are damn fine for inexpensive used telecasters.
