WebKit UIs in Linux garbling UTF-8 characters. – DSP and Plugin Development Forum

Here’s a plugin I’ve built from GitHub. You can see some special characters are messed up.

I ran into similar issues recently with another plugin but didn’t make the webkit connection at the time.

Is there a way to get these characters to display correctly? If I open the plugin UI html file in a web browser it renders correctly. It has to be something to do with how JUCE or webkit4gtk handles the UTF-8 charset.
