I’m with you on this point. There are two things at play. Capabilities and personality. Sometimes the two are coupled, but not often. The Iridium disappoints me as well, which is weird, because I think it sounds very good. There are a lot of great synthesizers that I feel that way about. I don’t think the analog filters in the Quantum add much. I had the Super 6 on my list, but I can’t find a way to get excited about it. I had a Peak for a year… never warmed to it.
