On the hardware, sliders can’t be a target for modulation and the behaviour is replicated in emulations as well.
I’ll try to rephrase and add to my previous post: a slider is nothing more than a tool to scale the amplitude of a signal, aka you’re performing a multiplication. When you move a slider with your hand, you’re changing the coefficient applied to that multiplication.
