Vocaloid 6 opinions? – Instruments Forum

Yeah, been looking in to it. However I have used Synth V and found its DAW integration super clunky. Maybe it’s better now.

At least they have expanded the English voicebanks beyond Eleanor Forte.

Regardless, I pulled the trigger on Vocaloid 6 last night. It actually comes with eight voicebanks, which was a nice surprise. Only four are AI though. Seems good so far but it’s clear that extensive tuning will be needed. Still, that’s ok. I am not shooting for perfection here and a slight robotic theme is ok. In fact, hmm, this plus VocalSynth 2 might be fun.
