Vocal multiplier effects (in: Effects)

So this Howard Benson Vocal Multiplier is on sale at present, I was recently interested in this kind of effect but don’t have much experience of them. This one looks quite fully featured , but I know there are fx whixch are more harmonisers …for me the use would be from thickening vocals to more creative/ambient effects…
I wonder if people had thoughts on this, experience of other plug-ins to compare
