visual studio code – Return the button that looks like a play button

If the “Play” (Run) button is missing in Visual Studio Code, try these:

Show Activity Bar:
Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac), type View: Show Activity Bar, and hit Enter.
Check Run Panel:
Go to View > Run (Ctrl+Shift+D or Cmd+Shift+D), and check for a gear icon in the top-right corner to bring it back.
Restore Keybinding:
Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P), search for “Preferences: Open Keyboard Shortcuts”, and ensure F5 or your preferred keybinding is set for running.
Reset Settings (if needed):
Go to File > Preferences > Settings and reset UI settings.
