virtualization – VirtualBox VM Launch Error Message

I am running Ubuntu 24.04, and I installed virtualbox following these instructions: www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads.

Here is the error I receive when launching my Windows VM:
VT-x is being used by another hypervisor (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE). VirtualBox can't operate in VMX root mode.
