This is all interesting to read, thanks.

I’ve been using Claude and Codex for many things (I am a software engineer in the day), and although I’ve had it prototype a couple of synths, I’m focusing more on sound/sample ‘conversion’ right now.

As you will maybe have found, the UI/Design of things is the biggest weakpoint in AI generally, which isn’t surprising as it’s a ‘creative’ output, and AI is terrible at creativity (which is why most AI UIs look very similar).
