V Horns pitch bend confusion (in: AcousticsampleS)

I have been using CC11 to control pitch bend via the vibrato “manual” setting. Now I intend to use actual pitch bend data. However, it seems that the pitch bend changes the pitch regardless of the setting in the vibrato control regardless. So I’m wondering: do I need to disable the dedicated vibrato control if I’m using the pitch bend data for vibrato? Am I getting twice the bend depth or something if I have “P. BEND” set for vibrato? Is there even a way to disable one but not the other?
