UAD now charging users for native licenses (even if you own the DSP version) (in: Effects)

I thought UA did the AMS plugins. They’re not Softube. They’re not Brainworx. They look like UA made plugins to me.

I suspect the issue is that AMS/Neve, for whatever reason, are just not allowing for native ports to be sold. If they suddenly start releasing their own plugins in the future, I’d understand. But as of now, it just seems more like it’s about wanting to be compensated more for branding and likely some kind of contract standoff.

Pure speculation of course.
