I’m not sure that quite holds true. Yes one was multi tracks and one was 2 bus. But oxide really is a simpler model of the studer, with maybe a different tone.
However that isn’t how you have to use them. You can use them where you like, depending on what you think is best.
I might lean into one of them on certain elements, but generally don’t use a lot of any tape, except sometimes on buses.
