U-he synths (Repro, Diva…) : vst3 or vst2 ? – Instruments Forum

I remember I did read somewhere that Urs Heckmann, from U-he, was recommending to use the vst2 version of its synths instead of the vst3, but I can’t find the source anymore.
And of course I don’t remember why.

I used only the vst2 versions of Diva or Repro in the last years, but in general I use more and more exclusively the vst3 version of my plugins.
The main reasons being that :
1- vst2 will slowly disappear in the next years (some devs only release vst3 versions now)
2 – I like the way you can automate vst3 plugins in Ableton Live and see the exact parameter value of what you are automating (instead of a 0-1 number)

I was recently thinking to switch slowly to the vst3 version of my beloved U-he synths.
Anyone knows what was the reason under the Heckmann’s praise for vst2 ?
