How long does frets last is depending on playing style
– a hollowbody playing jazz style with virtually no bends they last longer
I bought a vintage hollowbody where frets were 0.6mm high, no way to make bends since finger slam into fretboard as well.
– so refretted to do like Steve Howe style playing, not purely jazz style
Others do scalloped fretboard not to have fingers touch it as you play really light touch.
