Troubleshooting Windows 7 Installation Issues on VirtualBox

I’ve been trying to set up Windows 7 on VirtualBox for some legacy software testing, but I’ve hit a few snags. I’m wondering if anyone can provide some clarity or share their experience.

Here’s the issue: I’ve installed VirtualBox and created a new virtual machine, but when I start the VM with the Windows 7 ISO file, I encounter errors during the installation process. It often gets stuck or crashes at different points. I’ve checked the ISO file, and it seems to be intact. I’ve allocated 2GB of RAM and 25GB of virtual disk space.

Some of the errors are related to missing drivers or failing to read from the disk. Is there something specific I should do in VirtualBox settings to ensure compatibility with Windows 7? Any tips on optimizing performance or avoiding these installation hiccups would be greatly appreciated.
