Trouble with pickups, and reading wiring diagram (in: Guitars)

I’m currently trying to replace the pickups on a [url=https://www.ibanez.com/usa/products/detail/grg7221m_2y_02.html]GRG7221M I got a couple of years ago as I’m a sucker for that type of colour (not the last cheap Ibanez I have bought just for the looks), with the intention of upgrading it
I struggled with figuring out the connection to the five way selector, and ended up just removing everything apart from the ground wire to the bridge and the wires to the output jack, and got new pontentiomet…
