As result, it run slower than in Windows. I mean I have to set Vst not sandboxed on Bitwig to have 512 samples and 441000 hz without audio glitch (128 and 48000 hz on Windows).
As test, I tried on the same PC where I set a Hackintosh. There I can reach easily 128 samples (48000Hz) with sandboxed VST.
Ok, 512 samples (41000Hz) and not sandboxed VST is not the end of the world. But what will happen when I will have to update my distro? I will have to reinstall “all” and also all the personalization (and luck to not delete things), in hope that all the librairies will be not broken or deprecated by some developpers (that already happen to me).
I have less chance to loose all my settings in Windows (also Hackintosh) with better audio settings than on a linux distribution. I made my choice.
Edit:
I forgot to mention that my PC is a kind of NUC, an Intel I5 9400 + 16 Go of Ram, SSD.
