In my experience, it’s best to avoid pedals that say they sound like tube amps, unless they’re running high-voltage tube preamps like the Friedman IR series or the new one from Tone King. From what I’ve read the Dookie amp was just a modded Super Lead (Marshall Plexi) with an extra, cascading gain stage, and a master volume. That’s pretty much what a JCM800 is. So find some JCM800 amp sims or captures as a starting point.
