First impressions are that MACE is interesting, even more so now, near to a state where it could be used in earnest, but still not at maturity.
Case in point: A version 1.3.1 was just released that fixed a glaring bug: sounds were cut short at MIDI note off, which made the use of drum patterns with short notes obviously wrong in 1.3.0.
Other flaws of note:
The AI is very much of the same kin than all the familiar LLM plaguing us, with the same irksome limitations.
