Tempest plug in (in: Roger Linn Design)

The Tempest is a fully-analog open-architecture synth with limited non-user-serviceable sample support and a relatively basic sequencer; the main strengths of which lie almost entirely in the hardware itself. So, in my opinion, a plugin wouldn’t really make sense.
To which end, any software synth (VA or otherwise) combined with a simple sampler/drum rack in, say, Bitwig or Ableton would not only adequately replace the Tempest in software form, but completely crush it in terms of functionality …
