My MacBook Air M1 thermal throttles a lot because my session glitches with just a handful of instances of some plugins. The perf is unpredictable. My intel i7 Mac mini performed consistently well, just noisier under heavy load. I at least knew when the damn thing is stressing out. With my MBA the CPU is <10% but still glitches.
So, idk. On one hand, the perf on the MBA M1 is great but only for some time till thermal throttling kicks in. On the other hand, when the perf is great it’s wonderf…
