SWAM Strings V3 Settings (in: Roger Linn Design)

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I figured that it would make sense to ask a settings related question here. So, here is my question: When using SWAM with my Linnstrument, I find it hard/impossible to achieve smooth legato transitions because every time I press a new key, the expression level immediately drops back to zero for a moment. Is this a setting issue or a play style issue? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
