Installed the update and ran the calibration procedure last night. As I sorta expected knowing Slate’s proclivity to over-hype everything, ECCO is nothing mind-blowing and I’d say it’s a subtle improvement in clarity and detail. But, that’s definitely not a complaint – improvements are always welcome and I don’t think I’d want to try to “relearn” the sound of my VSXs due to a huge shift in sound anyway.
