This looks tantalizing. First off, improved cpu performance? I’m basically sold right there. With Dawproject I can move things over from Studio One and compare cpu performance b/t the two.
Thirdly the new drum sampler/synth looks dope, the sequencer has euclidean, & useful random quick beat filler uppers which look incredible.

Gui dark mode is another plus. You can drag around the mixer. It’s a third cheaper than the S17 update, which even though I missed the free update period by a couple weeks or so, I’m happy to pay for. Man it’s a tale of two updates b/t recent Studio One and this I must say, although I have yet to try either of them. Which brings another point in Cubase’s favor, a 60 day trial vs. last time I checked you can’t even demo S17.

I’m impressed honestly. This makes me want to switch to Cubase and use it near exclusively, barring any fickleness w/ the update. These are all meaningfully significant additions and improvements.
