sql – How exactly do I define a `rowversion` type for a view to be consumed by Azure Search Service?
I have a view I create in my Azure SQL Database that is defined as follows:
CREATE VIEW my_view
AS
Select
t1.*,
t2.*,
t3.*,
[what do I put here?]
FROM
t1
JOIN t2 ON t1.key=t2.key
JOIN t3 ON t1.key=t3.key
But I want to be able to track changes on the rows, and the documentation says I need a ROWVERSION datatype (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/search/search-how-to-index-sql-database?tabs=portal-sql%2Cportal-check-indexer#high-water-mark-change-detection-policy), but doesn’t really provide documentation on how that looks in SQL, and trying to find it from other places yields no results
How do I define a ROWVERSION row in my view so I can use High Water Mark Change Detection policy?
