Because they’ve decided that they’d rather install everything on a machine if it avoids just one extra support request. It’s all about their convenience – not yours.
This said: check the size of the installed plugins. Notice anything? They’re all the exact same file size (EG Softube’s current Mac VST3’s are 18.3MB.)
